About the Department

DEPARTMENT OF OPHTHALMOLOGY — INTRODUCTION
A separate and dedicated Department of Ophthalmology started functioning in 1994. Over the years, the department has expanded its academic and clinical scope significantly: CPS diploma and DNB postgraduate courses were initiated in 2001–02. University degree and diploma programmes commenced in 2010. The postgraduate program received official MCI PG recognition in 2015.
