1. Outpatient Services (OPD): To provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with respiratory disorders.
2. Inpatient Services (IPD): To provide specialized care and management to patients admitted with acute and chronic respiratory illnesses.
3. Emergency and Critical Respiratory Care: To manage patients with acute respiratory distress, respiratory failure, severe asthma/COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, and other life-threatening pulmonary conditions.
4. Respiratory Intensive Care: To provide intensive respiratory monitoring and ventilatory support, including invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, when required.
5. Diagnostic Services: To perform and interpret specialized respiratory investigations such as Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT) & Forced Oscillation Technique (FOT), bronchoscopy, thoracoscopy, polysomnography, Sputum CBNAAT, TRUNAAT, and other relevant investigations.
6. Tuberculosis and Respiratory Infection Management: To participate in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of tuberculosis and other respiratory infections according to recommended guidelines.
7. Management of Chronic Respiratory Diseases: To provide long-term care and follow-up for conditions such as bronchial asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases, bronchiectasis, and other chronic pulmonary disorders.
8. Sleep Medicine Services: To evaluate and manage patients with sleep-related breathing disorders, including obstructive sleep apnoea.
9. Patient Education and Counselling: To educate patients and their families regarding disease prevention, medication adherence, inhaler techniques, smoking cessation, respiratory hygiene, and lifestyle modification.
10. Teaching and Training: To provide undergraduate and postgraduate students with theoretical and practical training in respiratory medicine through lectures, bedside teaching, clinical demonstrations, and case discussions.
11. Research Activities: To promote clinical research and academic activities related to respiratory diseases, diagnostic techniques, treatment modalities, and public health problems.
