URBAN HEALTH TRAINING

The department of Community
Medicine runs the Urban Health Training Centre (UHTC). The Out Patient
Department (OPD) of UHTC functions every day and caters to the health care
needs of the population in UHTC field practice area.
The UHTC has facilities for
patient examination and basic laboratory investigation. Undergraduates, post
graduates & Interns are posted by rotation to the UHTC. The UHTC has a cold
chain system consisting of ILR, Deep Freezer and vaccine carriers for
immunization.
