The Head of the Department is responsible for the overall clinical, academic, administrative, and undergraduate & postgraduate training activities of the department.

  • Unit Head: Dr. Anil S. Degaonkar (Professor)
  • Clinical & Academic Scope: Provides comprehensive general surgical services and participates in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, clinical management, and operative training; specialized in gastro-intestinal surgical cases.
UNIT II
  • Unit Head: Dr. V. P. Kelkar (Associate Professor)
  • Clinical & Academic Scope: Provides comprehensive surgical care and contributes to academic teaching, clinical services, emergency surgical management, and postgraduate training; specialized in urological surgical cases.
UNIT III
  • Unit Head: Dr. Sunil Bomble (Associate Professor)
  • Clinical & Academic Scope: Provides general surgical services and contributes to operative procedures, clinical teaching, postgraduate training, and academic activities; specialized in advanced laparoscopic procedures.
